The Vampire Diaries fans all over the world are getting ready for the last ever season. For many of us, including me, the news of the series ending broke our hearts. Let’s talk about The Vampire Diaries teaser for a moment and talk about the two huge questions it has left us with.
The Vampire Diaries is teasing us with the beginning of the end in its season 8 teaser trailer, and fans everywhere are freaking out. Our first look into season 8 is a lot of the usual stuff in this 20 second taster. However, if you look closely enough the promo seems to be dropping loads of hints about the season which you may not have noticed before.
Let’s first talk about the macabre murder factory which obviously has something to do with the latest villain Sybil (Nathalia Kelley). In the trailer we seem to be back in the warehouse where Enzo (Michael Malarkey) and Damon (Ian Somerhalder) have bodies strung from the ceiling like meat in a butcher shop. However, if you look real close you will notice something huge has changed. There are no corpses hanging. Instead there are what appear to be hollowed out husks and limbs. Has something, possibly by the name of Sybil, been munching on them?
We then see someone getting dropped into a tank of water or maybe blood. Then directly afterwards we catch sight of a blood covered woman figure emerging from what I assume is the same tank. Whatever this monster is, Damon and Enzo seem to be supplying her with a fresh supply of human bodies. After spending decades locked away in a vault, maybe she’s eating them to get back to her former glamorous self?
Our next question has to do with the new nanny in town, Seline (Kristen Gutoskie). The trailer shows an arm reaching around Seline to slash her throat with a knife. Unless she manages to somehow get away at the very last second then we are going to have a dead nanny on our hands. We know Mystic Falls is a dangerous place to live, especially for new characters, but Seline can’t be biting the dust this quickly, can she?
