The summer finale of “Pretty Little Liars” season 7A left us with more questions than answers. Fans are hoping that season 7B, which is coming to us in April 2017, will finally provide answers to all our questions. Season 7B marks the last half of the last season of the entire series. Which is ending after seven wonderful years. CONTAINS SPOILERS!!!
In the summer finale, it was laid bare that Jenna Marshall (Tammin Sursok) and Noel Khan (Brant Daugherty) were in working together to uncover some secrets. Possibly this was for A.D. Maybe they had another motive. Aparrently Jenna shot Spencer (Troian Bellisario) in the chest, and whether the latter lives through the ordeal is something fans will see when the show returns. However, at the end of 7A we hear Jenner ask her captive if he/she shot Spencer.
The finale also saw Jenna waking up in the back of a van. After which she asks if the one driving was A.D. She obviously knows that A.D. exists, but she doesn’t know who he/she really is. something that showrunner I. Marlene King confirmed in an interview with TV Guide.
“Jenna knows A.D. exists and she is working anonymously for A.D., in ways that, we will find out moving forward, a few other people on our show are as well,” she said.
That means 7B might reveal more people who may or may not realize that they are working for A.D. I presonally think that Lucas (Brendan Robinson) and Paige (Lindsey Shaw) could be A.D.’s minions, or that maybe Lucas actually is A.D, which is why the latter decided to return to Rosewood and make things awkward for Emily (Shay Mitchell).
There are at least two weddings in the second half of season 7, which is supposedly picking up right where the summer finale ended. Fans are assuming one of the weddings will be Ezra (Ian Harding) and Aria’s (Lucy Hale), but they shouldn’t forget that Ezra flew to Colombia to find out if his ex Nicole is still alive. What will this reunion mean for Ezra and Aria? Who else will get married? Will Hanna (Ashley Benson) and Caleb (Tyler Blackburn) tie the knot, too? Frankly I think the couples to get married will be Spencer and Toby and of course the loved up Haleb.
A fan theory circulating on the world wide web which says Spencer and Bethany Young might be sisters with both being Mary Drake’s (Andrea Parker) daughters. Apparently, the fact that Jessica DiLaurentis (played by Andrea Parker, too), Alison’s (Sasha Pieterse) insisted that Bethany call her “aunt” suggests that Jessica knows they are related. Moreover, it seems Alison and Bethany have the same DNA (being cousins), or else, why would the police mistakenly identify Bethany’s body as Alison’s?
Our questions will be answered when Pretty Little Liars returns with season 7b in April 2017.
