As many will know, I am a huge fan of The Crow, the movie starred the late Brandon Lee who died on set before actually getting the movie finished. Despite an array of angry fans the movie is still set for filming in January 2016. I am as heartbroken as the rest of the fans out there by this shocking news. here is what I know.
The remake has been in the works now for many years, but due to legal complications and hurdles to get over the production was slowed to almost a halt. Rumours were going around that Jason Momoa was to be the main star of the movie, taking over from Brandon Lee as Eric Draven. The rumours all started due to an instagram photo being posted of Momoa and the film director Corin Hardy whose name has been linked to the remake for quite some time now.
The post soon sparked a mass of speculation amongst fans that The Crow is making progress and it won’t be long before it hits the big screen. As it seems, Hardy was reported to have been dropped from the remake but has now returned for the story after all.
According to new reports, the film is finally underway with Game Of Thrones’ Khal Drogo and Jason Momoa. It has been confirmed that Momoa will be on set as soon as the production of Zack Snyder’s Justice League wraps up.
So there you have it guys, it’s going ahead no matter what we do or say, which is down right disrespectful to the amazing, late Brandon Lee. I hope the movie industry feels a thousand shames for this one. There can only be one Eric Draven and to make him a muscular man, well that’s far from right now isn’t it?
