Word on the vine is that old classic comedy Three men and a baby is up for a remake. The 1987 movie which starred Tom Selleck, Steve Guttenberg, Ted Danson was a fantastic movie back in the day, to remake it now would be a mistake. The remake is of course apparently going to take on yet another so-called modern-day twist. To know more keep reading.
Let’s Recap the original first of all:
In New York City Batchelor roommates Peter (Tom Selleck), Michael (Steve Guttenberg) and Jack (Ted Danson) are all successful, single and like the way things are. One day Peter and Michael get the surprise of a lifetime when a young woman leaves a baby girl in front of their apartment door. With the baby they also find a note stating that the child, named Mary, belongs to Jack, but he’s away on business.
So Michael and Peter are then forced to care for Mary and though they make hopeless babysitters, they soon become quite attached to the little girl in their care. We follow with them the ups and downs of parenting and follow them on a journey as they learn to love and care for baby mary. If you have had the pleasure of seeing this movie classic you will know that it makes you laugh, smile and cry, So why on earth would it need to be touched. If you havent seen the movie I highly recommend that you add it to your “must see” movie list.
How many times do I have to state if it’s not broken then please do not try to fix it. So lets see what they are going to do to this classic. For starters they are going to be focusing on the three men being gay roommates who adopt a baby… WTF. How far this is true I don’t know im just telling what I heard. If I find out anymore on this I will be sure to let you guys know. Please don’t destroy this movie film industry just leave it how it is.
