The Blood Moon expansion features a new horror theme for you to traverse. This is not just more of the same as most expansion packs offer fans in other games. The undead rise, vampires hunt and the deadly Werewolf prowls- this is not your normal Talisman Digital Edition we are talking about here.
In this expansion fans will find 111 new Adventure Cards, one new time card, ten new spell cards several Lycanthrope cards and more. Whew. That is a lot of new cards available here.
Fans of the classic board game will want to grab a copy of Talisman Digital Edition and the Blood Moon expansion pack. This is probably as close as you are going to get without whipping out the miniatures, the maps and rolling dice yourself. While playing with authentic figures and boards and physical cards is fun, it is also time consuming to setup. It is hard to coordinate enough players and it sucks to have someone drop out at the last minute. Did I forget to mention that Talisman Digital Edition Blood Moon features up to six player online co-op mode? It does. That pretty much solves all of the problems with playing with physical items- you have to still supply the friends.
