New Amazon Studios Pilots Coming Soon

Premium streaming service have really made a name for themselves in recent years with their original programming and Amazon Studios is no exception. With major hits like “Transparent” and “Bosch,” they are now adding more new shows to the line-up and they are giving the members the opportunity, once again, to vote on which ones are worthy. Of the 8 New Amazon Studios Pilots being launched, only two of them are adult shows, the other six are geared toward the younger demographic. The pilot episodes will be available on the Amazon Prime streaming service on June 17th.

(1) The Interestings- Starring David Krumholtz, Jessica Pare, & Matt Barr

Based on the 2013 best-selling novel by Meg Wolitzer, it’s a story about a group of teens who form a special bond at a summer camp and then follows them through the years.

 

 

(2) The Last Tycoon- Starring Kelsey Grammar & Matt Bomer

Kelsey Grammar stars as a Studio Head who isn’t ready to give the reigns over to his son. The father and son go to battle to prove who is better suited to lead the company.

 

(3) Sigmund & The Sea Monsters- David Arquette

Based on the 1970’s classic Saturday morning cartoon of the same name, this live-action version centers on brothers, Johnny and Scotty, as the befriend a group of friendly sea monsters.

 

(4) Little Big Awesome, Morris The Cow, Toasty Tales, & The Curious Kitty and Friends

Four all-new animated children’s shows that will provide plenty of wholesome entertainment for the little ones.

Jordan Zeitler is 33 years old and lives in St. Louis, MO with his partner of 5 years. He enjoys spending time with his children and his friends. As a published writer, he writes short stories, stage plays, and poetry. In his free time, he escapes the real world by watching a lot of movies and TV. He also stays current on all aspects of entertainment news and politics. Jordan also served in the military for 8 years and is an advocate for veteran rights. Jordan has devoted a lot of his time to a small community theater company as the Production Manager. He also started a Youth Theater Program to educate kids about theater, singing, and improvisations. He hopes to someday publish the next great American novel and own a theater company of his own.
