Halloween will soon be upon us. So I thought we could look back at some chilling movie quotes to get us in the Halloween spirit. There have been some creepy ass movies over the years, and with them came some memorable creepy quotes which many of us won’t have forgotten.
“1, 2 Freddy’s coming for you, 3, 4 better lock your door…”
Oh yes, this little rhyme haunted me for many years! Freddy Kruger has to have been the scariest dude of the 80s and early 90s. A Nightmare on Elm Street petrified me. Even now I cant watch the body bag scene without covering my eyes. I swear if I saw someone dressed like him this Halloween I would run the other way.
“Wanna play a game?”
In the Saw movies when you heard that line, you knew something awful was about to happen *shivers*.
“Whats your favourite scary movie?”
Note to self, never answer the phone this Halloween. The movie Scream wasn’t exactly a terrifying movie, but if someone rang me up and said that while I was alone I would cry.
“I do wish we could chat longer, but I’m having an old friend for dinner.”
Yup, you guessed it, the quote was from Silence of the Lambs. Nothing would make you run faster than someone wanting to each chunks of your flesh.
“I see dead people.”
If I was the kid in The Sixth Sense I would permanently walk around with my eyes closed. I don’t do Ghost movies too well.
“A boy’s best friend is his mother”
This quote from Psycho I would normally agree with as I have sons, but I think we all know Norman Bates took this quote way too far.
“They’re here”
I still get creeped out if my T.V. screen goes all static in the dark. This quote of course comes from Carol Ann from Poltergeist.
I have probably missed a ton of amazing quotes. Let me know what you would add to the list in the comment section below.
