Monster Week Starts Tomorrow

For the 5th year in a row, Animal Planet will be hosting “Monster Week” starting tomorrow, May 26th. As usual, the week’s line-up will be packed full of terrifying reptiles, lions on the prowl, and 9-1-1 calls that will bring shivers down your spine. With 11 all-new monster specials, you do not want to miss the horrifying tales and the chance to see where some of the scariest creatures on earth live.

“River Monsters”, Animal Planet’s highest-rated show, will kick off the week this year with an all-new episode. And then each night, for the duration of the event, there will be another super-sized episode to haunt your dreams.

With “Lone Star Law”, the new freshman series, we will get an inside look at how the big state of Texas handles wildlife law. This show will premiere on the final night of the event, June 2 @ 10 pm EST following the season premiere of it’s counter part series, “North Woods Law” @ 9 pm EST.

We will get to know Dr. Diarra Blue, Dr. Aubrey Ross, & Dr. Michael Lavigne in “Vet Life.” Tune in to follow the three veterinarians as they manage a thriving vet clinic and their home life. The new season will premiere right after the event has come to an end on June 4th @ 9 pm EST.

And finally, with a special on Yeti’s, we may finally get proof of their existence… or not. The rest of “Monster Week” will be packed full of animal attacks and bugs that will make your skin crawl. So tune in from May 26th to June 2nd for the much-anticipated “Monster Week” and see what’s lurking in your backyard.

Jordan Zeitler is 33 years old and lives in St. Louis, MO with his partner of 5 years. He enjoys spending time with his children and his friends. As a published writer, he writes short stories, stage plays, and poetry. In his free time, he escapes the real world by watching a lot of movies and TV. He also stays current on all aspects of entertainment news and politics. Jordan also served in the military for 8 years and is an advocate for veteran rights. Jordan has devoted a lot of his time to a small community theater company as the Production Manager. He also started a Youth Theater Program to educate kids about theater, singing, and improvisations. He hopes to someday publish the next great American novel and own a theater company of his own.
