Top Ten Summer Blockbusters You Don’t Want To Miss

Summer Blockbusters are my favorite thing. Every summer, I look forward to an amazing line-up of great movies, and this year is no exception. There are a lot of movies to look forward to, but these are my top ten selections that I will be guaranteed to see in the theater. Let me know if you agree or comment with your own list.

 
 
 
 
 

1. The Conjuring 2 – Release date June 10, 2016

Lorraine and Ed Warren travel to north London to help a single mother raising four children alone in a house plagued by malicious spirits.

2. Disney-Pixar’s Finding Dory – Release date June 17, 2016


The friendly but forgetful, blue tang fish reunites with her loved ones, and everyone learns a few things about the real meaning of family along the way.

3. Independence Day: Resurgence – Release date June 24, 2016

4. The Purge: Election Year – Release date July 1, 2016

5. Ghostbusters – Release date July 15, 2016

6. Star Trek: Beyond – Release date July 22, 2016


The first leg of the USS Enterprise’s five-year mission takes them into uncharted territory. There the Enterprise is nearly destroyed and strands Kirk and his crew on a remote planet with no means of communication. Kirk must then work with the elements to reunite his crew and get back to Earth.

7. Ice Age: Collision Course – Release date July 22, 2016

Jordan Zeitler is 33 years old and lives in St. Louis, MO with his partner of 5 years. He enjoys spending time with his children and his friends. As a published writer, he writes short stories, stage plays, and poetry. In his free time, he escapes the real world by watching a lot of movies and TV. He also stays current on all aspects of entertainment news and politics. Jordan also served in the military for 8 years and is an advocate for veteran rights. Jordan has devoted a lot of his time to a small community theater company as the Production Manager. He also started a Youth Theater Program to educate kids about theater, singing, and improvisations. He hopes to someday publish the next great American novel and own a theater company of his own.

    Wow, I so wanna see all of them except the purge. I saw the first one and it was too much for me. I’ve heard many are upset because Ghostbusters is all women this time around but I’m looking forward to it.

      I never saw the first Purge, just not my type of movie. I am interested in seeing the new Ghostbusters. I am all for new takes on old stuff. If they did it with four guys then naysayers would just bitch that those four cannot hold a candle to the originals. They are going to bitch no matter what.
