Finally, I find myself with a much needed three day long weekend off work. The last such time I had this little bit of freedom was on December 18, 2015, where I was enjoying the release of Star Wars VII: The Force Awakens. I loved it and instantly wanted more. I am so itching at the bit to see the next chapter, Star Wars VIII (Star Wars 8).

Yet, I am reminded by my Google search that its 440 days away.  That is a release date of December 15, 2017.

Ah so frustrating, yet so damn “can’t wait, can’t wait, can’t wait” feeling.

No trailers have been released as yet but lots of information has been filtering through the web about the movie, such as filming has finished and editing has begun, suggesting it won’t be much longer for a teaser trailer to wow the world and send social media sites into meltdown.

I will wake up tomorrow knowing that it will be 439 days until Star Wars VIII is released, still being incredibly frustrated as the movie release date becomes ever more nearer and nearer.

However this time, all of us will have our minds taken off this fact, as it is only 76 days until the very first stand alone film in the franchise is released, Star Wars: Rogue One.

My next annual leave dates have been booked in and the excitement of Star Wars: Rogue One and Star Wars VIII is now starting to build and take over, 440 days that will be over in no time at all.
