Storks Get Ready For Questions Fellow Parents LOL
Storks, will hit our cinema’s on the 23rd of September 2016, Warner Bros teamed up with Sony pictures and Imageworks to bring us this children’s movie. Now is it just me or is this movie going to confuse children, about where their siblings come from?
Ok, ok maybe I am being a bit of a kill joy, but think about it for a second… When we are explaining to our children that their little brother/sister is in our tummy, surely seeing storks delivering babies is going to bring us a whole load of extra questions from our tiny tots’ mouths.
Please don’t get me wrong, I just think being a parent myself, when my younger children watch this (and they will) I better start preparing some answers, lol. I am not pulling the movie to pieces here, it’s just something that sprang to mind upon watching the trailer.
Just incase you don’t know, this movie was written by Nicholas Stoller and Doug Sweetland. It’s about Storks who deliver babies, well they used to anyways. Now, they deliver packages for a global internet giant. Junior (Andy Samberg), the company’s top stork, lands in deep doo doo when the Baby Factory produces an adorable but unauthorized baby girl. Desperate to deliver this small bundle of trouble, Junior and his friend Tulip (Katie Crown), who is the only human on Stork Mountain, race against time to do their first baby drop off, before the big boss man finds out.
If you haven’t seen the trailer to this movie, then I highly recommend you do. I couldn’t help but giggle and keep replaying the part with the wolves. Upon just seeing the trailer, I already think that the wolves need their own spin-off movie, haha. The part where they lick the baby had me crying with laughter, so yes I am looking forward to this movie coming out. Like I said before though, I’m sure my kids will have a lot of questions once its over. Enjoy the trailer below!
