Xbox One Receives Three More Backwards Compatible Games – Not All First-Person Shooters Either

Xbox One Console

The Xbox One is purportedly the most powerful console on the market today but that doesn’t mean it can do everything. One thing it doesn’t do out of the box is play original Xbox or Xbox 360 titles. That is why we are here now – three more titles have joined the lineup for Xbox One backwards compatibility. The good thing is, they are not all first-person shooters.

First up is Spec Ops: The Line is a third person shooter (told you they were not all first-person) that has you apparently making some interesting moral decisions in your battles. What started as a recon mission ends up turning into something that you didn’t bargain for. The video below shows some good gameplay that has me interested.

Next up is The Misadventures of P.B. Winterbottom is a 2D side view action adventure game. What is unique about this one is the time and space manipulation. Definitely one that is an acquired taste as reviews on this one are mixed.

Finally, we have The Darkness II which takes the fun of the original and expands it with new elements. The Darkness II is a dark game, no pun intended, and one that probably won’t be suitable for the  young gamers in your life, if you have any.

As I hear about more backwards compatible titles I will make to let you know. If you know about one that I missed, let me know in the comments.
