Northgard to Appear At PAX East Featuring New Content

Previously we covered Northgard and judging by  the response by our readers, it is a very anticipated upcoming release. Well, the good news is that Northdgard will be on display at this year’s PAX East event on March 10th. The even better news, Northgard will feature new, until now unseen, content.

“We’re thrilled to participate as an exhibitor at PAX East this year to present our latest project Northgard to fans and press. We’ve been working hard to get to this point to share our latest progressions with attendees and look forward to hearing their feedback. Engaging in communication with our community of fans is important to us and their thoughts about our game could potentially lead to important changes within Northgard.” says Sebastien Vidal, Shiro Games, co-founder.

The Clan of the Raven clan has a few things going for them over the competition. They are great explorers and merchants with water vessels that have no rival early on. This lends them to being a great starting point if you are wanting to conquer land and explore the world.

Starting bonuses include beginning the game with “Trading Lore” and the “Seafarer’s Hall” which replaces the harbor for quicker scouting. Fame bonuses include “Hired Help” which allows the Raven clan to send mercenaries. Not stopping there, the Raven Clan also can pay for colonization costs using Krowns.

Northgard is a turn based strategy game similar to Civilization and Age of Empires. Both great company to be with if you ask me. As it seems Microsoft is no longer making Age of Empires games, Northgard may be in the right place at the right time.

Shiro Games will be in booth #42 inside the Indie Megabooth area at PAX East on March 10th. This is your chance to check out Northgard in person and even chat with the developers.
