Transformers Forged to Fight Coming to Mobile Devices

We knew it was just a matter of time before we got a one on one fighting game featuring the Transformers franchise. I know, on consoles this has been done already, somewhat, I am sure. On mobile devices, it is another story. On Android and iPhone, we have seen strategy games and that Clash of Clans style game where you build a base and fight/defend. Now, we can add Injustice: Gods Among Us and Mortal Kombat X style fighting to the short list of Transformer mobile games. Transformers Forged to Fight is coming and it looks quite interesting as it covers the entire 30+ year life of the franchise in one game.

The storyline for Transformers Forged to Fight at least makes it feasible for so many generations to be in one place. Much like comic book universes where multiple universes are used to get away with this or that, Transformers Forged to Fight uses that excuse. Here though, it makes better sense.

Transformers from the comics, cartoons, movies, and toys are all going to be represented in an Injustice: Gods Among Us style of character collecting. Your characters are uncorrupted and “normal” while the rest are being controlled by a higher power (higher than the Quintessons?). You have to defeat them in battle and ultimately break the control of this higher power. Could it be Unicron?

You will be able to make use of vehicle/weapon mode of your chosen Transformer in battle – a really cool addition. Graphically, Transformers Forged to Fight looks amazing so far. Imagine pitting Generation One Optimus Prime against the Robots in Disguise version or Starscream from the comics against his cartoon counterpart. The combinations are nearly endless considering the breadth of scale we are talking about here.
