Tomb Raider Arcade Game Appearing Soon

It seems that Tomb Raider is not only coming to theaters but arcades near you. Right now, the Tomb Raider arcade machine is expected in limited venues but could be featured in more generally available arcades later.

If you have a Dave & Busters near you then you may be in luck as far as seeing the new upcoming Tomb Raider arcade game in person. I happen to have one in the Outlets at Little Rock less than five minutes from my home and plan on checking it out to see if they get this game.

Just what type of game is the arcade Tomb Raider game expected to be? From the preliminary images made available it looks like it will be a third person, like the game, light gun game (not like the home game).

What is weird about this arcade release is that it is a variation on the Rabbids Hollywood arcade game. Both arcade machines are four players capable and make use of 120” HD screens. It is believed that the Tomb Raider machine will be available at other locations other than Dave & Busters because of the normal coin doors on the cabinets (D&B use card readers). Could be one to watch for.
