The Walking Dead Season Two

Fans of the hit AMC television series, The Walking Dead probably already know about the game based on the show. If you own an Xbox One console then you can grab season two of The Walking Dead game. There is a small catch though – there always is.

You will need an Xbox One console, of course, and also be a subscriber to Xbox Live Gold to get The Walking Dead season two with the Xbox Games With Gold deal. This is just one of many titles that are free for the month of April so check out the full list here.

The Walking Dead game description – The sequel to 2012’s Game of the Year continues the story of Clementine, a young girl orphaned by the undead apocalypse. Left to fend for herself, she has been forced to learn how to survive in an unforgiving world. Experience what it’s like to play as Clementine, meet new survivors, explore new locations and make gruesome decisions in this five-part game series of choice and consequence.

For those new to the game, this is a series by Telltale who have honed their experience in creating cinematic experiences with video games over the years. Their style has been put to work on Batman, Guardians of the Galaxy, The Walking Dead and more.

Actions made in Season One of The Walking Dead and the “400 Days” Down Loadable Content (DLC) will have an effect on how the story in Season Two unfolds for you. If you have not played those previous releases then don’t worry, the game will determine the outcome from those games for you so you can continue the storyline unhindered.

Last year season one of The Walking Dead game was free for Xbox Live Gold subscribers. What is your favorite part of The Walking Dead so far?
