Six! Review, Physics Puzzle Tower Destruction Game on Android

Hmm, what is this?  A puzzle game where you simply click the pieces below and they disappear causing things to fall.  I think I could get into this, that is what I thought the first few minutes I played of Six! by Gram Games.  After about half an hour of playing I was getting into the game but well, it was showing its true colors to me and it was not pretty.  This is not one of those games to play if you are a rage quitter or prone to producing projectiles with whatever is in your hand.

Seriously, Six! is a pretty cool little puzzle game that works in reverse of what you may be used to.  Similar to Jenga where you remove pieces from the tower, Six! adds a bit of strategy to the game.  See that blue hexagon on top?  That is your catalyst in staying alive in Six!  If that hexagon falls off the tower then you lose.  Sounds simple right?  Believe me, it is not as easy as it sounds.

The pieces are all misshapen and stacked weirdly as you go down the tower.  That is the challenge of Six!  Keep that hexagon from falling but get as low as you possibly can with the tower.  Frustration will set in rather quickly but then you will realize you’re not planning ahead right and then strategies begin to formulate and frustration comes back.  The problem is, well, Six! has the “urge” good games have, especially good puzzle games.  You will be mad but you will want to play more.
