Five Nights At Freddy’s Movie Adaption Cancelled Or Not?

Five Nights at Freddy’s was meant to be having a movie adaption, this was announced over a year ago. However, fans have been wondering if the film is still pushing through as no update was ever given since the announcement. sorry guys I have the scoop for you right here.

Warner Bros. apparently signed a deal with Scott Cawthon in 2015. The entertainment company expressed its wish to produce a film version of Five Nights at Freddy’s so an agreement between the two parties was settled and everyone was happy.

Deadline, Gil Kenan was hired to direct the upcoming horror movie. The director was deemed the right choice since he has been known for his terrifying movies like the remake of Poltergeist. Kenan was also given the okay to write the script and Tyler Burton Smith is joining him as a co-writer.

If you have every played the Five Nights at Freddy’s games then you would understand why this movie would make a monumental fright-filled movie indeed. I played the game a few times and to my husbands amusement I screamed and covered my eyes a lot.

Have no fear though Freddy’s fans as it seems it’s actually going ahead because Cawthon confirmed that Five Nights at Freddy’s is in the works already.”The script is still being worked on. The people involved are taking the movie seriously, which is definitely a good thing!” Cawthon wrote on Steam Community when someone pointed out the lack of update for Five Nights at Freddy’s movie.

There you have it we will be expecting the horror movie Five Nights at Freddy’s on June 8 2018 and it safe to say I’m super excited. If done right this movie is going to be huge and scare the socks off the fans who flock to see it.
