Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Added to Marvel Future Fight Mobile Game

Marvel’s answer to the rather popular Injustice: Gods Among Us that features DC Comics characters, Marvel Future Fight has just received a large update.  The Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. are now playable characters in this popular fighting role-playing game for mobile devices.

“It is very rewarding to see players respond so positively to the new content we bring into our game,” said Seungwon Lee, President of Overseas, Netmarble Games. “We’re very excited to feature Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. within our new update for MARVEL Future Fight. With season three having just kicked off for the hit television show, it is a great time to have fans experience this exciting story in a new interactive way.”

“We’re excited that the first opportunity to integrate our TV content and mobile games is with Marvel Future Fight and “Marvel’s Agents of SHIELD,” said Peter Phillips, EVP/GM, Interactive & Digital Distribution, Marvel Entertainment. “While TV is one of the primary ways in which Marvel delivers amazing stories to our fans, our popular mobile games give people an opportunity to keep the story going.”

There are also new levels to battle through, two of them in fact.  Hydra’s Arctic Base is well a cold level.  The polar opposite of the Hydra base is a mountainous stage that Afterlife fans may recognize.

While Marvel Future Fight may not be the 100% be all answer to Injustice, there is more meat on the bones of Future Fight, they are keeping it updated with timely content and characters.  With a wealth of Marvel characters that run the gamut of cool to interesting (there are no real “stinkers” that I can see listed).

Comic book fans have a plethora of licensed titles to fall back on that simply sucked.  So far, the response to Future Fight has been fairly positive.  With this new update, it is surely to be liked by a wider range of fans.

Grab Marvel Future Fight on Google Play and the iTunes App Store.
